The Techo Technical Solutions is a provider of quality home computer and technology support services on the Mornington Peninsula. It is our mission to provide an effective and reliable service to members of the local community. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to ensure that our clients’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible.
The Techo Technical Solutions is a home based family business run by Patrick and Amanda Enright from their home in St Andrews Beach.
Patrick Enright purchased his first computer as a teenager in 1982 and has been addicted to computers, technology and gadgets ever since. If it has a chip in it, Patrick can fix it.
Patrick started in the mid-80s operating mainframe computers for a large multinational insurance company. He performed a variety of roles including Computer Operator, Shift Leader, Operations Supervisor and Operations Analyst.
In the 1990s and early 2000s Patrick worked for Ferntree Computer Corporation, General Electric IT Solutions and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). He fulfilled a number of different roles including Helpdesk Operator, LAN Administrator, Groupware Consultant and Consulting Systems Engineer specialising in messaging and database systems.
Patrick provided expert technical support and consulting services to large corporates and government departments including the State Revenue Office, Victorian Workcover Authority, KPMG, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Santos, Leigh Mardon, Alcoa and many others. He also provided desktop support to an office of over 200 computer professionals at Ferntree Computer Corporation.
Amanda Enright has a Bachelor of Science from Monash University where she majored in Computer Science. She also worked for Ferntree/GE/CSC as an Operations Analyst and a Computer Programmer.
In 2000 Pat and Amanda decided to do a ‘sea-change’ and relocated from Melbourne to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula to escape the corporate world and run their own business. For the following seven years they ran a real estate agency and Pat kept his computer skills up to date maintaining the company computer system. In addition, he continued fixing computers for family and friends which he had been doing for well over 20 years.
After selling the real estate business, Pat decided early in 2012 to put his many years of computer experience to good use and started up “The Techo” to provide expert, professional computer and technology support to individuals and businesses on the Mornington Peninsula.
With four young children, and as active members of the local community, you can rely on Patrick and Amanda to deliver an honest, reliable and professional service.
